At Stanford Children’s Health our passion for providing unparalleled care for kids and pregnant moms goes far beyond our hospital walls. As a not-for-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing extraordinary outcomes for our both our patients and the community. From providing exceptional care to our community’s most vulnerable to training the next generation of doctors and medical professionals, investing in the health of the community imbues the work we do in every community we touch. In 2014, we invested more than $208 million in Community Benefit services and activities which includes our Medi-Cal shortfall of more than $191 million. We work closely with local nonprofits and community leaders to ensure the continued improvement of the health of our community. Together we are building healthier, happy communities.
Stanford Children’s Health is the only network in the area—and one of the few in the country—exclusively dedicated to pediatric and obstetric care. Our doctors and facilities bring our Stanford Children’s Health level of extraordinary care to our multiple specialty locations, pediatric practices and partner hospital locations across the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Which means that a Stanford Children’s Health physician is easy to access, closer to home.
Our commitment to exceptional care continues to guide Stanford Children’s Health as we build our new state-of-the-art hospital. The expansion includes more than 3.5 acres of healing gardens and green space, private patient rooms and an adaptable design that will accommodate cutting-edge protocols and equipment. When we open in December 2016, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford will be one of the world’s most technologically advanced, family-friendly and environmentally sustainable hospitals for children and pregnant moms.
Our passion is providing unparalleled care with tremendous heart.
