place biennially at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds and serves an estimated 10,000 low-income
families. JLSJ also holds a free Community Health & Service Fair where community members can receive certain health screenings and receive information on healthy eating, dental care, and much more.
The Junior League of San Jose is committed to helping young children enter elementary school ready to learn and thrive by focusing its volunteer and financial resources on collaborative projects. These include projects that encourage children to explore, play and make their own discoveries, mentoring teen parents while finishing their education, and provide support services to relative caregivers and their families in Santa Clara County.
