The 2013 Silicon Valley African Film Festival is produced by Oriki Theater and presented in partnership with African Diaspora Network, African Women Development Fund USA and Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA).
Oriki Theater is a Mountain View based nonprofit performing arts company dedicated to the promotion of Africa's culture and heritage. Oriki Theater brings to audiences a shared understanding of Africa, its people and their way of life through a unique combination of dance, drama, folks stories, music, film and the drum.

When the 2013 Silicon Valley African Film Festival opens on Friday, October 11 at the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) in Mountain View, our region of Northern California will once again become a lens for experiencing the true stories, hopes and dreams of Africa. Now in its fourth year, the annual weekend showcase of more than 30 films from various African countries will take audiences of all ages across the continent, presenting a mix of feature films, shorts and animations from Africa’s seasoned and emerging first-voice filmmakers.
