Our Mission:
The purpose of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation is to conduct and promote non-partisan analysis, study and research of public policy issues affecting California’s Silicon Valley region, including housing, transportation, environmental protection, education, land use and energy, and help to alleviate human need and suffering in the region by combating hunger, deprivation and physical affliction with the provision of funding for food, clothing, shelter, medical care and other basic necessities of life. The Foundation will serve as a forum for policy experts, business and community leaders, public officials, scholars, students and other individuals in the public and private sectors, developing other charitable programs to be determined by the board of directors. It will identify problems, and underlying facts, explore innovative solutions and alternatives, initiate and implement new or existing programs to address these problems, or fund current programs and promote the exchange of diverse views on those public policy issues. The Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
