DreamPower Horsemanship is a 501(c)3 non-profit therapeutic horsemanship program offering equine-assisted activities and therapies to children, teens and adults with mental, emotional, behavioral and physical special needs. We offer 16 different programs for individuals age 3-95 and programs for couples, families and groups. Some of our programs include equine facilitated psychotherapy, equine facilitated learning, therapeutic horsemanship lessons, Ponies & Preschoolers, Horses for Warriors (for veterans and military personnel and their families), the Equine Journey Wilderness Program, Camp for Children with Special Needs, Horse Power: Living Strong with MS, Seeking Safety, Farm Friends (social skills program for children), Women's Personal Growth Group and more. In 2013, DreamPower provided services to more than 450 individuals ages 3-85. More than 450 volunteers gave of their time, energy and love through DreamPower in 2013. DreamPower currently utilizes the services of 11 riding horses, 3 miniature horses, 1 miniature donkey, 5 goats, 2 ducks and 3 chickens. New Volunteer Orientations are held once a month and new volunteers are always welcome.
